Who We Are
Agile Analytics, LLC is a woman-owned research and evaluation firm located in Austin, Texas. We specialize in quantitative analysis, though we advocate using mixed methods designs when possible. We specialize in educational research. Our areas of expertise are statistics, data analysis, and program evaluation.
We are innovative, independent, ethical, and client oriented. Most importantly, we care about the organizations that we work with and the questions they are seeking to answer. We go the extra mile to ensure that our work is accurate, reliable, and valuable to our clients.

Andrea Hutson, Ph.D., Owner/President
Andrea Arthur Hutson, Ph.D. earned her doctorate in Developmental Psychology from the University of Texas, with minors in Statistics and Cognition. Her primary research focus is on the improvement of education for students in grade PK-16. Dr. Hutson is also interested in the sociocultural environments of schools, and in public policies that affect children and families.
Andrea has worked with school districts, non-profits, and universities in Central Texas and beyond to improve children’s experiences at school. She has served as the local evaluator for multi-year, multi-site state and federal grants. Projects have run the gamut; from a relationship and co-parenting program for teen parents with Texas State University via a 5-year federal grant from the Administration of Children and Families to a local program working to improve the reading skills of students in grades K-2, supported by a grant from AmeriCorps.
She has taught Introductory Psychology, Group Dynamics, and Introductory Statistics at the University of Texas and Concordia University of Austin. She is a member of the American Evaluators Association (AEA) and the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD). She is a founding board member of Capacity Catalyst, an organization dedicated to connecting early career professionals and non-profits to improve education.

Andrea is an avid cook, reader, traveler, and music lover. She and husband Whit can sometimes be found catching a show at the Paramount Theatre, attending an Austin City Limits taping, or eating at one of Austin’s fantastic restaurants (although these days, you’re probably more likely to find them chasing a toddler around the grocery store.)
Lindsay Lamb, Ph.D.
Director of Evaluation
Dr. Lindsay Lamb is the Director of Evaluation for Agile Analytics.
Lindsay has a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin within the Human Development and Education division with a Masters of Arts focused on quantitative methods. With over 10 years of experience in the field of program evaluation, Lindsay is an expert in developing and carrying out effective program evaluations for school districts and non-profit organizations. Lindsay enjoys working with program staff to develop strategic plans, logic models, and program implementation rubrics – tools essential for program staff to use in both formative and summative assessments of their work. Lindsay thrives in sharing results from complex analyses with program staff to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
Prior to joining Agile Analytics, Lindsay worked for the Austin Independent School District (AISD) in the Department of Research and Evaluation (DRE). While there, Lindsay led the evaluation of AISD’s Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) initiative. As part of this work, she helped develop the SEL implementation rubric which is currently being used by other school districts throughout Texas. Lindsay also helped develop and disseminate AISD’s student climate survey. In addition to working for AISD, Lindsay was the Associate Director for Mindset Research under the guidance of Dr. David Yeager. Lindsay helped collect data used in nationally recognized studies, and shared results back with school leaders.

In her spare time (of which she has little!), Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family (which include her husband, two children and a dog), running around Lady Bird Lake in Austin, baking, and connecting with friends. A native New Mexican, Lindsay relishes any opportunity to visit family in the Land of Enchantment.
